Dragonflies - Dhani Harrison & Nigel Godrich - will release their self-titled debut via Dark Horse Records/BMG this Friday, September 18. Pre-order/Pre-Save HERE.

On “Setting Sun,” a gently propulsive bassline carries the duo toward a chorus that Godrich has coined “angular pop music.” The track follows album opener “Slower,” which arrived last month with its accompanying video directed by RUFFMERCY, a Bristol-based animator and music video director known for his hand-drawn, psychedelic-tinged style on work with Nirvana, Earl Sweatshirt, The Chemical Brothers, Nas, and Run the Jewels.

This weekend, the band will celebrate the album’s release with two debut shows at Hollywood Forever’s Masonic Lodge in Los Angeles on September 18th and 19th. The live show features a stacked lineup of powerhouse musicians, including Joey Waronker, Nick Valensi, and Maurice Talbot.
